By using Pikadish you agree to these terms. They're short, and they say what the service does and what it doesn't.

What Pikadish does

Pikadish helps you decide what to order at a counter-service store. You answer a few questions, get suggestions, and get an order code to show at the counter.

Prices

Prices are indicative. The final price is what the store charges. The store's till decides what you pay, and it may differ from what the app shows.

Ordering and paying

You order and pay at the counter. Staff open your order with its code on Pikadish's counter screen, key it into their own till and confirm it on that screen. Nothing is sent to the kitchen from the app, so an order needs you in the store: a saved or shared link can't get food made. A code lasts until the store closes that day.

Allergies

We only leave out dishes the store says contain these. Always tell staff about allergies.

Allergy information comes from the store. Pikadish is a guide, not a guarantee: we never say a dish is free of an allergen, and the store's staff can tell you what's in a dish.

Your account

You can order as a guest. Signing in with Google is optional. We store your Google account ID and email address to sign you in, and save only your usual party size, diets and, if you agree, your allergies, so the questions are filled in next time. You can delete your account at any time.

Your privacy

Your details are never sold, and never shared with stores or advertisers. Stores only see your order's dishes, notes, code, allergies and the optional "order for" name. When checking a complaint about an order, the business that runs the store, and we, can also see the diets declared for that order, and every look is logged. Orders you place while signed in are linked to your account, so they show under "Your orders" on your account and "Something new" can suggest dishes you haven't had at that store. An order with allergies is linked only while you've agreed to us saving your allergies: remove your saved allergies and those orders are unlinked. We never use an order's allergies to personalise anything. Read how we handle your details in Privacy.

Pikadish is run by Coffee To Code Pty Ltd (ABN 56 702 712 650).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and using Pikadish after that means you accept the new version.
